Have a G’Day Mate with New Online Slot, Boomerang Bonanza

Creative online slots bonus features in Booming Games new Boomerang Bonanza Slot.

Booming Games is one of the more recent digital slot machine makers to enter the market. With four years experience behind them, the company’s development team is exhibiting a real knack for creativity. Their latest release, Boomerang Bonanza, takes on an Australian Outback motif, with some unique features in the mix.

The fact that it has an uncommon, 4×4 reel grid is interesting. It’s also of great import to the game’s most intriguing bonus feature, wherein the entire set of reels rotates. At the same time, at least two extra wilds appear, delivering high potential for additional winning combinations.

Before I get too far ahead of myself, let’s take a closer look under the hood of Booming Games’ latest creation.

Boomerang Bonanza Slot

If you’ve ever fancied a safari through the Outback, you’ll absolutely love the Aussie slots theme here. The backdrop is beautifully rendered, with Australia’s famous Uluru red rock formation in the distance. Thematically designed playing card values of 10 thru A make up the lower-paying symbols that decorate the 4×4, 16-payline reels. On the high end are male and female safari guides, kangaroo wilds and boomerang scatters.

Because there are only 4 reels, players will need just two alike symbols on a payline (left to right) to trigger a win. The kangaroo wild is the highest paying symbol of all, worth 5000x payout for 4 on a line. It also plays the traditional role of replacing any other standard symbol to help line up wins.

Unfortunately, the appearance of 2 scatters won’t be enough to trigger free spins.. You’ll still need the traditional 3+ for that. Doing so awards 10 free games, with payouts based on the size of the triggering bet. 3 or 4 scatters also deliver scatter pays of 48x and 160x, respectively.

Creative Online Slots Bonus Feature

The most intriguing aspect of all is Boomerang Bonanza’s bonus symbol, which triggers a special feature called Bonus Rotation. When two bonus symbols appear anywhere on the reels—after delivering any payouts that may have occurred—the entire 4×4 grid of symbols rotates clockwise 90 degrees. The bonus symbols that triggered the feature also become wild. Any additional winning combinations that result are paid.

If 3 bonus symbols appear, the reels will rotate two times, paying out any wins with each rotation. Likewise, 4 bonus symbols will trigger three rotations of the reels, with a very high chance of payouts considering all the wilds on the wheel matrix.

If you’d like to give this new game and its creative online slots bonus features a whirl, it’s available now at all online and mobile casinos that offer the Booming Games portfolio of digital gambling amusements.

Boomerang Bonanza comes with a 96.12% RTP, which is fairly average in today’s internet slots market. Based on my own (albeit limited) experience, it has a medium variance. I only got the rotation bonus to trigger twice, with no extra rotations and mediocre wins. But it was an entertaining experience, if not a profitable one.
