Evolution Converts Live Casino Favorites into RNGs

Evolution launches first person casino games Dream Catcher & Lightning Roulette

Since 2006, Evolution Gaming has built a fine reputation on the premise of being a live-centric supplier of iGaming content. For more than a decade, every title in their impressive product line has been a live casino game. Their innovative design and steadfast approach to superlative quality have won the company 10 years worth of back-to-back Live Casino Supplier awards and countless other accolades.

More recently, Evolution revealed that it would be expanding its portfolio to include a few of the industry’s high-demand RNG-based gaming titles. It was a shocker to industry insiders like myself, having followed this brand’s unique journey through years of live-only productions. On the other hand, we knew it would be interesting to see the level of quality Evolution would put into the conversion of their live casino favorites.

And with that, the company announced last week the launch of…

Two New First Person Casino Games

Evolution is breathing virtual life into two of its most beloved live casino games, Dream Catcher and Lightning Roulette. The “First Person” version of these titles are similar to their live casino cousins, except that players enjoy them on their own, without the communal experience of other players or a professional, live dealer at the wheel.

In keeping with the tradition of their live-centric business model, Evolution’s developers made sure to include a ‘Go Live‘ button within each game. By pressing this button, a player can instantly convert to the live casino version of any first person game. In kind, the live version has a button to revert back.

“Our First Person Gaming range continues to leverage the latest technology to help our licensees build player loyalty across their entire online casino games offering,” explains Evolution’s Chief Product Officer, Todd Haushalter.

“All Evolution First Person titles are great games in their own right with superior animation and gameplay,” he continued. “But with the ‘Go Live’ button these games go far beyond conventional RNG games. That button is a way of very easily taking players into the hugely entertaining world of Evolution Live Casino, a world that offers so much more than classic Live Casino table games.”

First Person Dream Catcher

In the RNG-based version of this Evolution fan favorite, players enjoy the exact same experience without any restrictions to game pace. Since there are no other players, and no host tasked with entertaining them, the wheel can be spun as soon as a player has set their desired bets.

The game is played on a large wheel with multiple numbered segments, similar to the Big Money Wheel at some land-based casinos. Players choose one or more numbers to bet on. If the wheel happens to land on one of the special 2x or 7x multiplier slots, bets stay in play for another spin, and all winning picks pay out at the designated multiplier.

First Person Lightning Roulette

Lightning roulette is a fascinating roulette game that follows the traditional rules of European Roulette, except that 1 to 5 random numbers are struck by lightning each play as the wheel spins. These numbers will receive a random multiplier of somewhere between 50x and 500x.

Evolution made sure to retain the same level of electrifying energy in its RNG version of Lightning Roulette, designing the wheel with stunningly realistic graphics that send frenetic bolts of electricity through the air as the action unfurls.

These new first person casino games are available now at Royal Vegas and all other online casinos that employ the Evolution Gaming portfolio.
