Explore an Enchanted Forest in Habanero’s Magic Oak Slot

Spin the 4×4 reels of Habanero’s Sci-Fi fantasy slots, Magic Oak.

As its name implies, digital gambling games developer Habanero Systems prides itself on delivering the hottest slot machines to the online casino community. Their latest release, Magic Oak Slot, certainly fits the bill. Its creators combined a popular enchanted-forest theme with a new-age 4×4 reel-set. The end result is a game far more interesting than the industry’s typical cookie-cutter designs.

Magic Oak follows the tail of 5 anthropomorphic woodland creatures as they frolic upon the reels in the magical forest of their homeland. Mesmerizing will-o’-the-wisps bring the game to feature-rich life, while free spins deliver the most lucrative potential for a big win in this highly volatile, 96.71% RTP slot machine.

The Mother (Nature) of all Sci-Fi Fantasy Slots

Aside from the beautifully rendered fantasy theme, the new Magic Oak Slot has a lot of unique features and functions that are sure to attract all types of slots fans. Its main characters are the wise owl, graceful squirrel, fearless boar, astute raccoon, playful rabbit and sly fox. These make up the high paying symbols. Equally-valuable clubs, diamonds, hearts and spades fall on the low end.

The Wild symbol replaces all standard symbols to create winning combinations. However, Magic Oak isn’t a typical pay-line slot machine. The 4×4 grid awards a win any time 4 or more matching symbols appear adjacent to one another. As such, a single wild can be use to assist in more than one symbol’s winning combination.

The Scatter coin does not award traditional scatter pays, but will grant free spins when 4 or more appear anywhere on the reels. When this occurs, each scatter coin will flip, revealing either 2, 3 of 4 free games. The sum of those coins becomes the number of free spins awarded. Free games cannot be retriggered.

The new Magic Oak online slot offers also a progressive jackpot. Three of them, in fact – the Mini, Major and Grand. There’s no special way to trigger them except by playing the game. Any one can be awarded entirely at random following any spin.

Will-O’-the-Wisps are Where the Winnings Are

The most interesting thing about this new Habanero slots game has to be its magical will-o’-the-wisps. They appear in shimmering yellow or blue randomly after any spin, collecting over the mysterious orb right of the reels. Yellow wisps will turn one random symbol on the screen wild. Blue wisps will turn all of one symbol type wild.

All collected wisps can activate at random – blue first, then yellow – or automatically after collecting 6. Note, however, that wisps collect per bet size. If you alter your wager, new wisps will begin collecting for the new bet size. Revert back, and your old wisps will still be waiting.

These wisps are definitely where the money is at. Being a high variance game, you can’t expect much from your average spin. But when a large number of wisps activate, it can produce a great number of wilds. And since each wild can contribute to more than one combination, the payouts can become euphoric; as much as 6,250,000 coins in a single spin!
