The time has finally come. After years of regulatory speculation and legislative wrangling, Ontario’s competitive, private-operator iGaming market is finally live. It consists of more than a dozen online sports, casino, and poker operators; an impressive number, but only a portion of the market’s burgeoning potential.

The poker scene, for example, gained the globally-renowned 888Poker gambling site. For sports bettors, an inspired showing includes foreign favorites like Bet365, alongside home-grown hero, theScore Bet. Over on the casino side of things, we now have major players like BetMGM, BetRivers, and LeoVegas.

These are just a few of the prime candidates on the market today. A host of additional companies are still in the hunt for a licence. We’ll keep you posted on that front. For now, let’s get right to the information you came here for.

List of Actively Licensed Gambling Sites in Ontario

The following is a complete list of active licensees, per the official website of iGaming Ontario (iGO). It includes the website and DBA title, Operator name (host company), type(s) of gambling on offer, and licence status.  Note that operators with day-one authorization, who began accepting local customers on April 4, 2022, are listed in bold. We will continue updating this list as more operators achieve regulatory status.

According to a statement on the official iGaming Ontario website:

“Every internet gaming website offered by a fully registered and approved Operator in Ontario will have iGO’s logo displayed. If you see this logo you know that the website operations are carefully monitored by iGO and regulated by AGCO, giving you the confidence that you’re playing on a secure website that offers a safer and more socially responsible experience.”
