Red Rake Gaming Launches Knights Online Slot

Following in the footsteps of every major online games creator worth mention, Red Rake Gaming has released its own edition of the time honored classic adventure. It is a 5×3 reel video slot with just 5 fixed paylines, expandable up to 6×3 by wagering twice the stake. The standard bet range is $0.10 to $17.50, doubling to $0.20-$35 with the extra reel active.

I think we’ve all come to expect exquisite graphics these days, and this title definitely delivers in that department. The sound effects are what I noticed most when I started playing. There’s no constant background music assaulting your ears. Instead, we hear the natural tranquility of pleasantly chirping birds. More robust sounds only take place as the result of a spin, with a more dramatic musical score played throughout the free games feature.

The game’s icons include Merlin as the wild and top paying symbol, a trio of knights in green, red and silver, the Castle Camelot, a chalice (could it be the Grail?), a knight’s helm, and King Arthur’s famous sword, Excalibur. Card values A, K, Q and J round out the lower variety.

The knight’s trusty steed is the scatter, worthy of 10, 15, 30 or 40 free spins when 3, 4, 5 or 6 appear anywhere on the reels. During free spins, all knight symbols join Merlin in becoming wilds. Free spins can be retriggered at the same rate as in the base game, except that just 2 horse scatters can now award 1 extra free spin.

The value of free spins also increases as the spins progress. For the first 5 free spins, payouts are normal. Spins 6-10 pay outwith a 2x multiplier, increasing to 3x for spins 11 and beyond. Should the free games feature fail to award a minimum of 15x the total triggering bet, the player will receive an additional 5 free spins, also paid at 3x base value.

Built in HTML5, the new Knights online slot is compatible with all major operating systems and devices; desktop, laptop, smartphone and tablet. It is optimized to scale seamlessly in portrait or landscape mode for mobile players.
