Luck of the Irish Shines in New Leprechaun Song Slot

New online mobile slots from Pragmatic Play, Leprechaun Song.

When it comes to good fortune, there’s nothing quite so famous as the luck of the Irish. In fact, the world’s most renowned good luck charms revolve around Irish folklore; things like four leaf clovers, rainbows, leprechauns and their overflowing pots of gold. You’ll find all of this and more in the new Leprechaun Song Slot from Pragmatic Play.

Company CCO Melissa Summerfield shares the company’s delight in unveiling the brand’s latest addition to their ever-expanding online and mobile slots portfolio. “Its exhilarating and uplifting nature makes us confident that it will be a hit with players,” she says.

The new Leprechaun Song slot is endowed with 5 reels, 20 pay lines, and an undeniably brilliant Irish folk theme. Lush, green hillsides with hobbit-style homes (reminiscent of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Shire), make up the vibrant background as the cheerful, cartoon-style leprechaun oversees the game from his perch atop the reels. As the name implies, a blithesome Irish musical score sets off the theme perfectly.

High-end symbols include the leprechaun, green hat, pipe, and ale. On the lower end are typical card values of A, K, Q, J, 10. Other symbols in the game are the wild rainbow and bonus pot of gold.

The rainbow wild can appear on any reel, and substitutes for all other symbols except bonus scatters. It has no special properties, though, like expansion or multiplying wins.

The pot of gold scatter only appears on reels 1, 3 and 5. The scatter nudge can increase a player’s odds of triggering the feature. If a scatter appears on reels 1 and 3, and is one space above or below on reel 5 when it stops, the reels will nudge the scatter back onto the screen to trigger this feature. When 3 scatters show up in a single spin, it triggers free spins, preceded by a random bonus game.

Free Spins Random Bonus Games

There are three random bonus games that can trigger following the appearance of 3 scatters in the base game.

Free Spins Picker: This bonus comes with 10 free spins and a 2x multiplier to start. Players will choose mushrooms from a field. Each mushroom contains additional free spins, multiplier add-ons, or a symbol that will become an extra wild during all free spins. Once the player reveals the word “Collect” under a mushroom, the free spins begin.

Coin Collector: This bonus starts with 15 free spins and a 2x multiplier. Gold coins will appear on the reels during the free spins. For every 5 coins that are collected, 5 additional free spins and an extra 1x multiplier are added. Number of possible free spins is unlimited, but multiplier maxes out at 6x.

Giant Symbols: This feature comes with 3 free spins and a 3×3 giant symbol per spin. On the first spin, the giant symbol covers reels 3, 4 and 5. On the second spin, it appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. The final spin puts the giant symbol on reels 1, 2 and 3, guaranteeing a sizable win.

Leprechaun Song Slot Random Spins Features

There are three random spin bonuses that can occur in the base game. They include Raining Wilds, Pick a Fiddle, and Giant Symbol.

Raining Wilds: During any spin, the reels can randomly go crazy with wilds. A random number of wild symbols will appear on the reels for this spin, greatly increasing the odds of a win.

Pick a Fiddle: Once the current spin is over, and any applicable winnings paid, the screen fades to a pick’em bonus where the leprechaun presents 5 fiddles. The player picks 1 fiddle to receive the instant credit prize beneath.

Giant Symbol: During any spin, this feature can suddenly place any high-end symbol in a random 3×3 position on the reels.

The new online mobile slots from Pragmatic Play is equipped with a medium variance and a theoretical RTP of 96.46%. You can give it a whirl in demo mode at the creator’s website, or visit any online casinos powered by Pragmatic to play the Leprechaun Song Slot for reel money.
