Relic Seekers, the New Fantasy Adventure Slots Game from…

Relic Seekers, the new fantasy adventure slots game from Pulse 8 Studios and Microgaming.

As far as slots themes go, Microgaming‘s latest addition doesn’t bring anything new to the table. It’s another adventure game that drops players deep in the jungle, where ancient temples hide untold treasures. Fortunately, it packs a lot of punch by way of back-story immersion, graphic appeal and high-variance features.

Developed by one of Microgaming’s exclusive content partners, Pulse 8 Studios, this new creation has a distinct Asian-inspired theme. Set in the legendary era of Huangdi, the Yellow Emperor, (circa 2600 BC), players are invited to join a trio of brave treasure hunters on a journey through the ancient tomb known as Dragon’s Vein.

Micogaming’s James Buchanan comments on the mysterious new adventure slot, Relic Seekers, hailing the design team’s ability to deliver an “immersive playing experience with captivating visuals and features.” He goes on to welcome the new studio to their ever-growing list of exclusive content partners.

“Relic Seekers sets the bar high for future releases from Pulse 8 Studios, who we are delighted to be working with on an exclusive basis.”

New Fantasy Adventure Slots Game, Relic Seekers

Available now at all Microgaming casinos, Relic Seekers is a 5 reel, 25 line video slot with a deep plot surrounding its three main characters. They include the young, daring adventurer known as Free Man, the audacious lavender-haired Nora, and their wise mentor, Professor Morgan. Together, they travel deep into the Dragon’s Vein to unearth its cryptic wealth.

The game’s high-paying symbols include the three main characters and their trusty canine sidekick. On the low end are colorful runes. Special symbols include lantern wilds and spherical gate scatters. This wild does nothing special outside of its typical job, taking the place of other standard symbol to help create winning combinations.

Rolling Reels with Symbol Turn Wild

There is one feature that can trigger during the base game, Rolling Reels with Symbol Turn Wild. Rolling Reels activates whenever a winning combination is formed. After paying that win, the symbols involved in the win are removed, making way for new symbols to roll onto the reels. If another win occurs, the winning symbols disappear and the reels roll again. There’s no limit to the number of consecutive wins that can occur in Rolling Reels.

While this feature is active, every second, fourth, and sixth roll triggers the Symbol Turn Wild feature. Each time this happens, one of the three main characters will turn wild, and remain wild for as long as the Rolling Reels continue. This feature can also trigger during free spins.

Free Spins with Collect Keys Feature

You’ll need to land 3 scatter symbols to trigger free spins and scatter pays. It is possible to spin 3, 4 or 5 scatters, but landing more than 3 has no benefit. The scatter pay is always 2x the total bet, and 10 free spins are awarded.

The only special attraction in free games is the Collect Keys feature. During free spins, a bright green key can appear on the fifth reel. When it does, it gets collected in one of the six key holes at the top of the screen. Collecting 3 keys awards +2 free spins, while 6 keys awards +2 free spin and a 2x multiplier for the remainder of the free games. Additionally, landing 3+ scatters during free spins awards another +10 free games.
